Summary
It is a somewhat bold and sweeping statement to make to suggest that 'Reveille,' a picture which the Hongkong Amusements Ltd., rightly claim it is proud to show at the Star Theatre, is the equal if not the superior of any Cenotaph ceremony. And yet, the Cenotaph is not once shown in the picture. But the incidents which made this noble piece of architecture a permanent reminder, are, and that is sufficient. The thing is a piece of life. The picture is great in its truthful reality. A visit to the Star will confirm what has been said. Preliminary atmosphere is given by 'The Silver Stars' of the Surrey Regiment in a campfire scene, while the music is good.
