Summary
Hongkong is in danger of being spoilt just now, in the way of entertainments. There is no lack of choice, and the standard may be set down as uniformly high. Until the weekend, every evening may be spent at the University without fear of proving tedious. On Friday night, the Theatre Royal should be packed to welcome the Lang-Holloway Company. The management of the Victoria Theatre is displaying abundant enterprise, and after the successful appearances of the Brennans and the Quealys, are presenting the Hughes Musical Comedy Company. The popular Bijou Scenic Theatre, where Mr. Stephenson always assures a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The pictures are invariably of the first order, and the vaudeville turns one of the best.
