The Alexandra Cinema-Theatre is visiting Hong Kong. Their performance last night in a hall at No. 2 Zetland Street started shortly after eight. With the Manila String Band in attendance, and with Mr. Gongiles at the piano, the first performance was a song 'Honey Boy' by Miss Thelma. This was followed by a cinematograph display entitled 'A Cheeky Traveller.' 'Demières Etreintes' by Miss Bonnin was appreciated. Miss V. Russel sang 'Just a little rocking chair' and Miss R. Giraida danced a Spanish dance 'Les Astas del Toro.' The first part of the programme was concluded with 'Toreador,' from the opera 'Carmen,' rendered by the tenor, Mr. Torras. The second and third parts of the programme contained songs, dances and films.
