Summary

Booth Tarkington's name is sufficient to recommend to the masses any photoplay, but in the case of Florence Vidor in 'Alice Adams,' his name is doubly effective because nothing has been lost from the original in its transition to the screen. 'Alice Adams' made its debut at the World Theatre yesterday, where it will remain until Saturday. Other actors include Claude Gillingwater, Harold Goodwin, Vernon Steele, and Thomas Ricketts [sic]. In directing and adapting Booth Tarking [sic]'s story to the screen, Rowland V. Lee has done a splendid work. It's an encore picture, distributed by Pathe.
