Summary
In the film which is being presented daily at the British Empire Exhibition by Messrs. Hans Renold, the driving chain manufacturers of Didsbury, Manchester, one has some leisure to observe and to reflect. It 'features' the new Renold cycle chain, but allows other characters something of a part. We are shown the development of the cycle from the 'hobbyhorse,' through the stages of 'boneshaker' and 'penny-farthing' to the early chain-driven machines.
