The Victoria cinematograph was packed last night, the occasion being a benefit performance to the popular manager, Mr. Blake. There was a full programme, and every item was thoroughly enjoyed. Mr. R. H. Stephenson, the manager of the Bijou Scenic theatre, kindly assisted with the programme, as did also Miss Ada Rowley, of the Bijou, the band of the K.O.Y.L.I., Lce. Cpl. Clarke, Martin Rolfe, Miss Smith, Messrs. Rice and Alexander, Messrs. Kerton and Dacy, Bimbo Darke, Miss Addie Leigh, Mr. G. W. C. Burnett, Lce. Cpl. Spiegelhalter, American Mat, and Verne and Smite.
