The Big Four was a phrase that came out of the peace conferences, and before that applied to motorcycles; but there is a Big Four in the film world, comprising three of the world's greatest movie stars, Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, with Mr. D. W. Griffith, one of the world's most famous producers. They call themselves the United Artists Corporation, and they have accomplished the purpose of their joining by releasing super films on a scale seldom before attempted. They have met with enormous success there, among them being Mary Pickford in 'Pollyanna' and Douglas Fairbanks in 'Mollycoddle.' Another fine film is that in which Doris Keane in Edward Sheldon's 'Romance.' Mr. D. W. Griffiths has another masterpiece in 'Broken Blossom.' The sole rights for all Far Eastern countries, have been secured by Messrs Greenhill and Sons, Kobe, a branch of the firm which is well-known in London. The firm's Hongkong agents are Messrs N. S. Moses and Co.
