For this evening and tomorrow Mr Stephenson has secured for his popular Bijou Scenic Theatre a really fine set of pictures which all should see. One which has been greeted with rounds of applause is that in which two of the most prominent cinematograph artistes figures, namely Max Linder, the French comedian, and Nick Winter the American detective. It is an extremely clever film. A startling dramatic story is entitled 'The Blood-Red Rose,' a love affair in which a fine representation of the apache dance is introduced. The 'Pathe Gazette' gives a vivid description of important happenings in various parts of the world including scenes in the China Revolutions, the burning of Hankow, the collision in which the Oceana was concerned, and while there are many comic films. Performance by Miss Lilian Price.
