The management of the above neat little theatre in Wyndham Street is to be congratulated upon the excellent opening performance given last night. There is a display of anxiety as a rule in many parts of the world to convert a cinematograph show into a variety of performance. We are glad to see that Mr. Stephenson is more or less content to wait and see if the Hongkong public desire and demand a show which provides, first and foremost; a delightful series of the best possible films that money can procure. One matter which should prove especially attractive is the local nature of some of the pictures, for last night a number of views of the British section of the Canton-Kowloon railway were shown.
