Summary

It seems appropriate that a week of British films should gain the patronage of H. E. Governor. It should gain the whole-hearted support of those whose general criticism has been that we have too much American element served up in our film entertainments. The feature British film will include 'Alf's Button'; 'Squibs, M.P.' which feature the real live M's. P. George R. Sims will appear in Coronet tomorrow; 'The Harbour Lights'; 'The Son of Kissing Cup' and some other pictures to follow which will make the British Film Week with 'education' and amusement.
