Summary
British indeed was the character of yesterday's opening of the British Film Week at the Coronet Theatre. A trip round London was the opening item, told by an American who comments favourably on all the interesting sights that come to his eyes. 'Our Own Tropical' is also distinctly British, comprising the latest news from Home. But Betty Balfour in 'Squibs M.P.' is England of the English. Chief interest centres in typical election scenes and in the House of Commons. The succeeding pictures in this interesting week of British Films should command extended patronage.
