Summary
The audience was not nearly so large as it ought to have been at the Victoria Theatre last night, when the popular 'Cameos' made a welcome reappearance and submitted a programme on behalf of the 'Our Day' Fund. Mr. Athol Tier was once again a great favourite last night as the vocalist and dancer. Miss Lyle Jeffries, in her solo items and in duets with Mr. Gerard Osborne, was also outstanding. Miss Lilian Gascoigne's beautiful Voice was again heard. Mr. Malcolm Prentice gave a fine performance on the violin. Miss Peggy Ross sang and danced. Miss Rhoda Windrum and Mr. Kitts sang songs. At the piano, Mr. Kershaw was of great assistance to the Vocalists. Tonight, the 'Cameos' will again appear.
