To the Editor S. C. M. Post – This is a response to the news about film censorship at Singapore. It mentioned that the police in Hongkong are aware that certain cases of violent crime here were traceable directly, not indirectly, to 'the pictures.' It is also a fact easily verified that many thoughtful Chinese, and many engaged in teaching the youth among them are gravely concerned as to the effect of exhibiting indiscriminately in a place like this scenes from both fact and fiction which might be harmless in a British or American town, but are certainly not so here.
