Summary

The growth of juvenile crime is considered to be connected to the growing prevalence of unrestricted attendance of school children at cinema shows. The Association of Head Teachers at Nottingham passed the resolutions to (a) restrict the attendance of children at such shows by fixing a time and age limit; (b) exercise a stricter censorship; (c) insist on a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the buildings, and veto the attendance of children excluded on medical grounds.
