Summary
Business has been brisk at the cinematograph shows during the past week. At the Victoria Theatre, Miss Lynda Davis, who has become very popular since her arrival in Colony, is still the main attraction in a splendid programme. In the picture line, the programme is very strong indeed. The star item is undoubtedly the historical film depicting the story of Pygmalion. Other pictures screened included a 'Gallant Police Officer' and 'Foolshead at the Kino Show.' At the Bijou, Miss Violet Bonnetta, who appears to have an inexhaustible repertoire of popular songs, is still a great favourite. The pictures were excellent especially 'Max Linder and his Mother in Law.' The other pictures are also of a very high standard.
