Summary
It will be remembered, says the 'Times of Ceylon,' that some time ago a proposal that entertainments should be provided for coolies on estates afforded a rare opportunity for local humorists to exercise their wit. We believe that it was Mr. Wallace Westland who brought the news that in Java planters provided cinematograph exhibitions for their labourers.
