Summary

It seems that the Americans had practically monopolized the film world and that more than 95% of the films shown throughout the Empire were American. The films exhibited 'American ideas and sentiments, the glorification of American energy and initiative, the enterprise of American trade, the worship of the dollar, and the ridiculing of Englishmen. To counteract such a negative influence, it is recommended that the British films should be improved and be speeded up. Also, the worst films from the United States should be censored.
