Summary

It is not often possible to put an as good a show as that at the Coronet tonight! And so convinced are we of this fact that we will cheerfully refund the admission price to anyone who can conscientiously tell us that he has not thoroughly enjoyed the show! First of all, you will hear the combined orchestra of the Coronet and Kowloon Theatre in a musical programme that absolutely fits the pictures. Secondly, there is the latest Pathe's British Gazette, and in this connection, we would point out that you see them at any other theatre in town. Thirdly, there is 'The Illiterate Digest,' a short reel of humorous observations by Will Rogers. Fourthly, and in our opinion the star item of a particularly fine programme, the tenth anniversary number of the Topical Budget, with various peeps from the past including such varied personages as the Kaiser Lord Kitchener and Charlie Chaplin. Fifthly, Tom Moore, Hongkong's most popular male star, supported by beautiful Seena Owen, the beloved princess of 'Intolerance,' in a typical five-part light comedy, 'A Man and His Money.' You will rank this next to 'Lord and Lady Algy,' not forgetting 'Thirty a Week' and 'The Cinderella Man.' Finally, ‘Snub' Pollard in a comedy that would make a cat laugh, 'Cash Customers.' We firmly believe that you will consider this the best film this comedian has ever appeared in. We are advertising this programme for three days only; if it pleases you as it pleased us it should run for a week. Today at 2.30, 5.15 and 9.15. Music at each performance.
