Summary
Costume plays are usually dull enough affairs, with little life or movement. That they can be infused with life and colour is proved by the notable historical film now showing at the Coronet Theatre, 'Passion,' which not only presents some beautiful costumes but also unfolds a dramatic story. This is not surprising as the theme chosen is the romantic life of Madame du Barry. Pola Negri takes the role of Madame du Barry.
