Summary

The Face in the Fog,' has not belied its title, and the story of a crook whose change into a peaceful citizen, and back again to his former life when the circumstances demand it, has appealed to the crowds who make the Coronet their favourite weekend engagement. Lionel Barrymore, who plays such an important part in 'The Enemies of Women,' is here the phoenix-like crook. Charlie Chaplin and Jackie Coogan in 'The Kid' are to appear on Wednesday. Chaplin is not only likely to go down to fame as probably the greatest laughter-maker on the screen, but also as the discoverer of Jackie Coogan, who now enjoys an international reputation and whose recent visit to England brought overwhelming crowds who wished to see 'The Kid' in the flesh, and probably to envy the young boy's earning capacity.
