Summary
In the issue of the 'Bioscope' appeared the following under the head of 'A Warning to Producers': 'We would counsel film producers to make a note of the fact that in future all films entering India will have to be censored by a board of Censors set up under power granted to the Government of that Empire recently. We understand that the reason for the establishment of this strict censorship is that whilst films may be quite suited for exhibition in Great Britain or America, when shown in India they frequently lower the prestige of the white people or offend in other ways.'
