Summary

An epic tale of surging passion sweeping from the wide plains of the Argentine, through the fascinating frivolities of pre-war Paris, into the blazing turmoil of the German invasion of Northern France, will be unfolded on Monday at the Star Theatre, Kowloon, in 'The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse,' the remarkable picture which just recently has had such a phenomenally successful run in London. It is a film version of the novel of the same name by Vicente Blasco Ibanez. The director, Mr. Rex Ingram, has succeeded in concentrating the struggle in a series of unforgettable pictures that make one see above it the awesome figures of the four horsemen – Conquest, War, Famine and Death – prophesied by St. John in the Book of the Apocalypse.
