Summary

(To the Editor S. C. M. Post) Sir, – A week ago I attended the Coronet Theatre and saw a picture of Boy Scouts at a Peak garden party, the name of the mansion something like an orange. A piper piped and the picture informed us the music was exhilarating. I believe it, for suddenly comes a well-known official, constructed on the lines of that little bird they call the elephant footing it like a two-year-old. 'Playing the clown,' says to myself; and I said the same when I opened my Morning Post this morning and read a speech in our local talking shop by the same playful gentleman. Somewhere in the Litany there should be a prayer, 'From rulers like these Good Lord deliver us.' – Yours, etc., A Time for Everything. Hongkong, 29th August 1924.
