Summary

The Coronet had reluctantly to turn away crowds of people last night at the first showing of 'Hearts are Trumps,' the film version of Cecil Raleigh's famous old Drury Lane melodrama. 'Hearts are Trumps' contains some fine direction by Rex Ingram. Film synopsis included. Another interesting item was the first rendering of a spirited march by Mr. F. Manaois, of the Star Theatre, which was most ably conducted by the composer, and received much well-merited applause.
