Hongkong is going to play an important part in the picture world if the plans tentatively drawn up by a prominent motion picture magnate of San Francisco bear fruit. Mr. Kenneth McGaffey, secretary of the Motion Picture Utility Corporation of San Francisco, is considering plans for the filming of an all Chinese play, together with Mr. Ray of the Coronet Theatre. In addition, Mr. McGaffey intends to bring over 20 leading film artists, including Robert McKim, Hobart Bosworth, Eleanor Fair.
