Summary

Remarking, at London Sessions, on the number of boys who went astray, Mr. Robt. Wallace said that many who came before him owed their position to having been influenced by pictures of burglaries and thefts at cinematograph shows. His lordship said that not a session passed in which there was not a young prisoner, who, having seen pictures of lawlessness, had his imagination stirred, with the result that he wished to do the same as the people whose actions were illustrated on the screen.
