John Barrymore has acclaimed Miss Gish as the one actress who carries the supreme tradition of Bernhardt and Duse to the Screen. 'The White Sister' was made by Charles H. Duell, Jr. president, Inspiration Pictures Inc., and seven months were spent amid Italy and Africa. The picture has been released by Metro and has broken records at $2.20 admission price in New York.
