Los Angeles, Calif. Jan. 2 – Mabel Normand, movie actress, today gave her version of the shooting of Courtland Dines yesterday, directly contradicting her chauffeur, Greer. She said the chauffeur brought her to Dines' apartment and she went into a bedroom to aid Edna Purviance in hooking up her evening gown. When she heard the shots, she ran out and found Dines on the floor.
