Summary

In conjunction with the programme offered by Peter the Great, the world's champion strong man, 'The Call of Youth' was entirely made in England and all the actors are well-known London stage figures. Quite apart from its pictorial appeal, however, the picture has several other strong claims upon the British public. The story is engrossingly human and the characters are natural. Likewise, there are present all those little homely details that we miss in the American films. Film plot included.
