The first official War Office film of the actual fighting operations of the British army in France and Flanders was to be released for pubic presentation on January 17. The films show the civilians at home a fascinating and absorbing reproduction of the actual scenes at the front and in the trenches. The Army Council under the approval of the Commander-in-Chief made arrangements for the films with two of the leading houses. Messrs Gaumont and Jury were selected by the committee of the Kinematograph Manufacturers' Association to represent them. Details of the film are included.
