Summary
A meeting of the War Charities Committee was held in the Council Chamber yesterday afternoon to receive a report from the Executive Committee in charge of the arrangements for the celebration of 'Our Day' on Thursday, October 19th. The programme for the day was in three parts. One of them is Public Gardens Fete and Illumination, which will be mostly outdoor but one indoor performance will take place in the Victoria Theatre.
