Summary

On Easter Monday, at the Victoria Hall, Miss Rosina Filippi's scheme of a People's Theatre will become an accomplished fact. Owing to lack of funds, she has been compelled to abandon her original intention of producing 'The Merchant of Venices,' 'Romeo and Juliet,' 'The Taming of the Shrew' and 'Julius Caesar' and to substitute for the two latter 'The School for Scandal', and if she can obtain Mr. Shaw's permission, 'Candida.'
