Gloria Swanson showed marked propensities as a practical joker during the filming of 'Beyond the Rocks,' her new Paramount Picture showing at the Queen's Theatre this week when she made Rudolph Valentino, her leading man, the butt of a practical joke which caused hearty laughter. Sam Wood directed the film. Manilla Vaudeville Company – A number of Filipino artistes from Manila are offering a variety at Queen's Theatre this week. Performers include the Alabama Brothers, Dimples, Miami and Millie. Little skit 'Treat ‘em Rough' and promise for some days to come to draw appreciative audiences.
