Summary
When 'Broken Blossoms' appeared, we hailed Dick [sic] Barthelmess, the actor. With 'Tol'able David,' we acclaimed a new star. But with 'Sonny,' his latest picture, which opened yesterday at the Queen's, we announce the arrival of an actor of ability in portraying human beings as they are with intense sincerity. Pauline Garon lends the star excellent support, and Patterson Dial, previously seen with Barthelmess in 'The Seventh Day,' contributes a very fine role. Interesting variety was added to the programme last evening by the inclusion of Lucille Anderson, the wife of a well-known resident. Mrs. Anderson is a comedienne of the type of Nellie Wallace, much beloved of Londoners.
