Summary
Captain [sic] acting and sympathetic treatment of the respective parts seemed to be the keynote of what was shown by the stars in 'Mothers-in-Law' which opened at the Queen's Theatre last night. This Gasnier served a double purpose. Firstly, there were members of the audience who were visibly moved and gladdened in turn as the reels were unfolded. Secondly, those in search of entertainment pure had every reason to be satisfied. Edith Yorke gave the best performance as the charming mother. Gaston and Ruth Clifford shared the other honours in the part of the typical married couple. Josef Swickard of 'The Four Horsemen' is also in the cast.
