Summary
Mary Philbin appears in her first big starring feature for Universal at the Queen's Theatre, where 'Fools Highway,' a spectacular adaptation of Owen Kildare's famous novel 'My Mamie Rose,' opened yesterday for a four days' run. The little Irish who scored a triumph in 'Merry-Go-Round' enacts the role of the 'Little Queen of the Bowery.' Film plot included. Besides the excellent work of the star, Pat O'Malley deserves special mention as he strutted and swaggered from start to finish. For today and tomorrow, the Manila Vaudeville Co. is presenting a new programme.
