Summary

A great many of the patrons of the Queen's Theatre yesterday went to enjoy a screened series of antics performed by the screen's most gifted boy. Jackie Coogan was the boy, the play was Frank Lloyd's adaptation of Charles Dickens' 'Oliver Twist' presented as a First National Attraction. While some will wish that this or that episode had been chosen from the book rather than what is filmed, it must be conceded that Mr. Lloyd took with a logical hand those portions of the novel that lent themselves best to the medium of the screen and were most readily welded together into a plot paralleling that told by Dickens. Others in the cast include Lon Chaney, Gladys Brockwell, George Siegmann and Lionel Belmore.
