Summary
According to Henry King, director of Pauline Frederick's latest Robertson-Cole super-special production, 'The Mistress of Shenstone,' adapted from the novel by Florence Barclay, and which opens at the World Theatre on 24th inst., the day of 'repressive' acting has arrived. 'The screen work of Miss Frederick, I consider the finest example of 'repressive' acting,' said Mr. King. 'Indeed, the great success achieved by 'A Slave of Vanity' on the screen, was due in a great measure to the wonderful interpretation given the leading role by Miss Frederick.
