In the court of Summary Jurisdiction, yesterday afternoon Miss Latour sued the proprietor of a cinematograph in Dex Voeux Road for $75, alleged to be due as salary. Mrs. Coggin sued the same defendant for $20.80, also alleged to be due as salary. The defendant was a Belgian named Dufresne. Mr. Sydenham Dixon appeared for the plaintiffs and Mr. O.D. Thomson appeared for the defendant. After hearing the evidence judgement was given for the plaintiffs with cost.
