A remarkable feat was achieved by the two local cinematograph shows on Saturday, when they were able to produce, just twenty-one days after the great event, the films of the Coronation procession which took place in London on the 22nd June last. The Bijou was the first to show the films at the matinee in the afternoon, but they were shown at the performances of both the Bijou and the Empire at night. The films are very fine ones, being exceptionally clear and distinct, and they roused the audiences into a high pitch of enthusiasm. The photographs of the King and Queen were loudly cheered.
