Summary
The Moon of Israel,' showing at the Coronet, is the screen version of Sir H. Rider Haggard's novel, and it is beyond all question a masterpiece of filming. It is a romance of the highest order, with a beautiful love story woven into the Biblical account of the Israelite's escape from the bondage of Egypt. How a prince threw away his throne for a slave girl and the adventures he met in strange lands are depicted with deftness of touch and a wealth of scenic detail.
