Summary

The Frawley Company added to their list of successes last evening by the performance of 'Lawful Larceny,' an absorbing play by Samuel Shipman. Miss Adele Blood took the part of Marion Dorsey, whilst Mr. Herbert Light gave a convincing study of Andrew Dorsey. Miss Helen Barnes scored a great hit as Mrs. Davis, whilst the part of Mrs. French, played by Miss Florence Roberts, was a finished representation enacted with fine discretion. The other roles were capably rendered by Mesdames Betty Barnicoat and Dorris Kemper, and Messers Allen MacClasky, Bernard Neddel, Lester Sybe and Gordon Davis. Tonight, there should be a large attendance to see 'Smilin' Through,' the film of which is proving such an attraction at the Coronet. Meanwhile, the gem of the Company's repertoire is reserved for tomorrow evening. This is 'Anna Christie,' with its author Mr. Eugene O'Neill. Booking at Moutrie's.
