Summary

The Victoria Theatre has been undergoing a process of redecoration and now looks extremely smart. The Christmas matinee was a very great success. At night the house was fairly well filled, and the Band of the 18th Infantry was in attendance. A splendid programme was provided, which included two coloured films 'The Island of Kyushu' and a dainty fairy play 'Winged Gold.' Another important feature was a two-part comedy 'Pierrot Disillusioned' in which the celebrated actress Mlle Napierkowaka appears.
