Messrs Ramos and Ramos, the proprietors of Victoria Theatre, have just concluded arrangements for the exhibition of the animated picture Gazette of Pathé Freres which will be quite a new thing in Hongkong. Gazette is an ordinary film showing the latest happenings from all over the world. A monster programme of new pictures has also been arranged for tonight, including the unveiling of Queen Victoria memorial, by King George in the presence of German Emperor and Empress; the Investiture of H. R. H. the Prince of Wales in Carnarvon Castle; the coronation review of the British fleet of Spithead; and the great Italian Hydroplane showing the inventor and his friend, the start, movement of the screws; rising from the water at certain speeds; in full speed and gliding on planes at 70 miles an hour. Amongst other pictures to be shown the next few days are, 'A day at Crystal Palace,' 'Roland the Grenadier,' 'The Grandsire,' 'Locusta,' 'Love and Money,' 'The fall of Troy' and the 'Cardiff dook strike.' Also a performance by acrobatic dancers Miss Ethel Preston and Ricardo.
