On Friday, October 11, a grand variety entertainment will take place at the Victoria Theatre. The band of the Yorkshires, and also the Orient string band will be in attendance, and the artistes will include Mr. R. Stephenson, Miss Ada Rowley and Miss Gladys Spencer (by the courtesy of the management of the Bijou Theatre). Miss Addie Leigh received a hearty welcome last night as well as Mr.Verne and his partner Miss Smith. Tonight, the grand historical film 'The Iscobites' will be screened.
