The Victoria Theatre management last night gave a successful entertainment under the patronage the Hon. the Captain Superintendent of Police, to the Hong Kong Police Reserves – 50 percent of the gross proceeds going towards the Police Reserves' band fund. The Band, under Mr, Da Costa, Messrs J. Brooks, J. Murray, A. B. Allen, T. Hurley, Mr. H. White, Messrs Venner and Goordie, Messrs. Thorn and White, Messrs. McGreger and Murphy performed. Some interesting cinematograph pictures were shown, and the Victoria orchestra, under Mr. Montex, played.
