Last night in the benefit performance at the Victoria, H.E. the Governor, Lady May and the Misses May were present for a little while, as were also H.E. Major General Kelly with Mrs. and Miss Kelly, Commodore Anstruther, the French Consul and Miles. Liebert and a large number of officers of both Services. The pictures were remarkably good. Mr. Alexander Miller danced. Mr. A.J. England, Mr. William sang songs. La Belle performed rope act. Mr. W. Blake was the stage manager.
