Summary

An interview of B. P. Schulberg, a young producer, who is responsible for 'The Girl Who Came Back,' which is now playing at the World Theatre. He said that they chose 'The Hero' and 'The Girl Who Came Back' for filming not because they were popular plays but because they lend themselves admirably to screen adaptation. On the other hand, 'April Showers,' 'Poor Men's Wives' and 'Are You a Failure?' were just as successful although they were written for the screen and were not known in any other form.
