Summary
Another Warner Brothers Classic of the Screen is scheduled to appear at the World Theatre for four days' run commencing today. This is 'The Gold Digger,' featuring Hope Hampton, an adaptation of the David Belasco stage play of the same name. When Mr. Belasco read the scenario for the picture version of his play, he expressed himself as very much pleased with the work of Grant Carpenter who wrote it. The large and expensive cast is composed of Hope Hampton, Louise Fazenda, Windham [sic] Standing, Gertrude Short, Alec Francis, Jed Prouty, Arita Gilman [sic], Peggy Brown and others. Harry Beaumont directed this David Belasco Production. Film synopsis included.
