It is a Universal-Jewel production adapted from the play of the last New York stage season, written by Earl Carroll. 'Bavu' was the original title. Felix Bavu gives the title to the picture. Wallace Beery plays the role. Estelle Taylor is lovable as the heroine. Forrest Stanley, Sylvia Breamer, Nickolai [sic] de Ruiz, Martha Mattox, Josef Swickard, Harry Carter and Jack Rollens in other roles give commendable performances.
